Ortofon Quintet Black S

If you're thinking of buying a Hana cartridge - the chi-chi 'reviewers favourite - you want one of these. In a different class, for the same kind of outlay!
The cartridge is not even fully 'run in'. Much less than 40 hours or so of use. Near-mint condition - no b/s(!).
Purchased as a 'reference/back-up' - and used to check out arm and turntable against 'known variable'. But, as I now have 4 very high-end cartridges(!) - it's no longer needed.
It's a superb-sounding piece and astonishingly good value.

The Quintet Black S is graced with a Nude Shibata diamond, considered one of the best stylus profiles available, mounted on a high-performance Sapphire cantilever.
Sapphire is one of the best cantilever options that provides an excellent mechanical pulse transfer from the stylus to the coil system.
The Quintet Black S, like its predecessor Quintet Black, produces detailed and pure reproduction though-out the spectrum, volume and soundstage.
