Mark Levinson No 23.5

I am the original owner of this amplifier. It has been used continuously since purchased in 1989. It is cosmetically in great condition, with the exception of a crack in one of the positive speaker connect binding posts (see photo). This does not impact tightening of the post.  The reason for the stated condition of 5 is that during the past year, this amp has on 3 occasions suddenly reduced output by 80% or so to the left channel. Generally, it functions flawlessly. The 3 occasions when the left channel cut out occurred when the amp was not given sufficient warm up time of 30-45 minutes.  Nevertheless, this is likely a sign of age related issues that could necessitate expensive repair. It is for this reason that I have listed the AMP at a greatly discounted price  (I have seen this model recently listed at $3000) with no warranty given and no returns accepted.  I have the original factory double boxes, however as they have sat in my garage for 30 years they are soiled with age. Shipping, insurance and PayPal charges to be paid by buyer.  This is a beast of an amp (105 pounds) and was the state of the art in its day!
