McIntosh Surround Processor, Preamp and DAC.
I used the MAC-3 in a simple 5:1 surround system. It sounds awesome and would work very well in either in a 5:1 system or as a pream/DAC in a 2 channel system. Although it does not have all the latest surround decoding, I used it for 15+ years in my HT system with some DYI amps and never felt the need to "upgrade". The unit works great and has never given me any repair issues. The only reason I am selling is we are doing a complete remodel and plan on using an Atmos system with ceiling speakers. Overall the unit is in excellent condition. But there is a few small scratches on the top. I tried to capture in the photos.
