Tube Research Labs (TRL) Dude Preamplifier (very rare)

Tube Research Labs (TRL) Dude Preamplifier This is a special version of the 6sn7-based legendary Dude tube preamp that Paul at my request added a remote-controlled ($500) stepped attenuator motor to (sonically invisible, and completely out of the circuit when not in use).  This preamp has an absolutely massive power supply with larger capacitors than are found in most amplifiers.  It is extremely musical with superb body and provides great dynamics; a huge soundstage; and excellent imaging.  Supports single-ended and balanced connections, and works well with tubes or solid state- I used it with the matching TRL Samson SS amp (see other listing- discount if both pieces are purchased together) and it really is an amazing pairing- it is also superb with my 211 SET amp.  This preamp will compete with some of the best, and is an absolute bargain given its superlative performance- priced to move.  $2,750 USD Shipping is set at $70 USD.
