This highly reviewed DAC has dual 192K/24 bit crystal DAC’s
and separate analog and digital linear power supplies with independent analog
and digital signal paths. There are 8 digital audio inputs: 1 USB, 4 SPDIF (co-axial), 2 optical TOSLink, and 1 AES/EBU selected by buttons on the front panel.
Supported sample rates are 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192 KHz. 16-24 bit PCM and 16 bit, 32-48KHz USB. The sample rate is shown on the front panel. Input can be upsampled to 176.4 KHz or 192 KHz. (Upsampling is selected by a button on the front panel. For specs, see the Bryston website.) I’ve used only the SPDIF and TosLink inputs and they work beautifully. I’ve owned this DAC for 8 years and am selling it only because I’m upgrading my system. It’s been well cared for in a pet-, child-, and smoke-free home. There is one light 4” scuff mark on the bottom and a 2” one on the top. These do not penetrate the paint and are hard to see but they are there. The one on the bottom shows in one photo. S/N 138, date code is 0846.
