Ryan Speakers S610 - like new, walnut

Up for sale are my Ryan Speakers S610 pair in Clear Walnut finish (same as seen in audio shows in partnership with Pass Labs and Cardas). These speakers (not this pair) have been the star standmounts at both RMAF and Axpona according to numerous reports.

Time-aligned beryllium and laminated Nomex drivers for serious air and incredible bass control, respectively. Totally inert cabinets using Klippel Distortion Analyzer and Scanning Vibrometer optimization, hence comparable to Wilson in all but price-inflation.

9/10 condition. No dings or scratches. Matched pair. Best standmount speakers I have ever heard and remain easy to drive with a minimum impedance of 6 ohms (8 ohms nominal).

As the original owner, I had these made for me and purchased from a world-class NYC audio dealer in January 2019. Includes all original items and packaging.

RYAN’S NOTES

Over a year of continuous development and refinement are reflected in the S-Series loudspeakers. Each driver designed in house specifically for its application using the latest simulation and measurement software. The design of every motor and suspension is perfected using the Klippel Distortion Analyzer and Scanning Vibrometer. 

The drivers are blended seamlessly by the finely tuned crossovers producing near flat in room frequency response, even in less than ideal acoustic spaces. Each crossover component is chosen for its transparency and ability to let the music flow through unaffected. 

The unique shape of the S-Series enclosures allows the acoustic centers of all drivers to be perfectly aligned. A large radius is applied to the front and rear baffles eliminating edge reflections. The S-Series features our silent core cabinet material with internal constrained layer damping. The S-Series enclosures reduce unwanted noise by up to 50dB compared to typical MDF enclosures.
