It’s the vintage Red Rose Silver 1 cable-of Mark Levinson Created Fame!
Manufactured to the absolute highest quality. It's new-old stock. In perfect condition. No kinks or tears.
Create your own custom interconnects by purchasing any length you'd like by the foot ($20 ft).
The Silver 1 cable is NOT copper or silver-plated copper.
IT IS PURE SILVER.
Conductors are red because they are litz wire and therefore coated with enamel. This cable consists of a shield and three conductors. Conductors consist of pure Teflon insulation and ultra pure silver litz wire…the ultimate combination. The cable
jacket is soft and very flexible.
Beautifully made from pure silver wire in a true litz construction (many fine conductors separately enameled, soldered at the ends) with a Teflon dielectric (Teflon is the best insulator known). 20 gauge.
Today, if you can find them, Red Rose Silver 1 interconnects (3 feet each) usually
sell for approximately $250-$350 per pair. That is $40-$50 per foot of this
amazing cable plus the connector’s cost. Anyone who wants to make custom sized
interconnects, either single-ended or balanced, or do amazing audio
installations can now purchase whatever they need by the foot for just $20 per foot.
Actual shipping cost to be calculated after the sale. For domestic shipping, USPS 2 Day Priority Mail Small Box ($8.30). Large orders may have to ship in a larger 2 Day Priority Mail Box. International shipping cost to be determined based on location.

Questions for the seller |
---|
Hi, I may be interested. What gauge wire is used?
Thanks,
Minorl Hi Minot-
It’s 20 gauge.

I may be interested in 70-80 feet of this for some custom balanced runs for a new triamped system. Do you have information on which color wire of the three conductors should go to which pin (1-3) for standard balanced AV connections or does it not matter? They look like all three conductors are the same. And does this cable have any directionality? Probably not but I want to ask. Thanks.
ACR Hi Adam-
Thanks for the inquiry.
It doesn't matter which colors you use. Red Rose recommends that the signal flow in the direction of the lettering on the cable.
