Bent Audio TAP (Vishay Resistor Version)

For sale is a Bent Audio TAP passive pre-amp. This is a one-of-a-kind
unit built by John Chapman almost 10 years ago using Vishay resistors
instead of autoformers. The original owner was lucky at the time to scoop up this
wonderful passive pre and I have enjoyed it immensely since. But as I'm changing around my system, I have to let it
go.

This preamp is incredibly transparent. As an added bonus the TAP comes with a
multitude of inputs (6), two outputs, tape monitor, and a phase switch. All controlled from the remote.

The unit shows some very
moderate signs of use and is cosmetically and technically in good
condition. Prior to buying it last year, it was serviced by John Chapman,
who replaced the front panel PCB to fix some bouncy buttons of the input
selector. This was done free of charge by John and is a testament to
his great customer service. Overall a great guy to deal with, always
there to answer questions and super quick to reply, first rate service
all around.
