Mitchell A Cotter (M A Cotter) Moving Coil (MC) Step Up Transformer MK2

I am the original owner of a Mitchell A. Cotter MK 2 Moving Coil Pickup Transformer. These transformers rarely come up for sale. The principle purpose of the Mitchell A Cotter SPT is to permit the full realisation of the potential excellence of moving coil pick-ups. It has such transparency to the signal and such opacity to noise that it seems to disappear, except for the ultimate purity of the signal.
This model is the most sought after and versatile of all the models made. This is Serial # T2-912817. Original silver wires attached with upgraded DH Labs Silversonic RCA-HC Ultimate RCA connectors . Cosmetically it is in very good condition with a couple scratches on the unit, but no missing paint, and all tags.
The MK-2 has load impedance jumpers inside, making it possible for the user to set its "impedance range" configuration using a strapping jumper as P, PP, S or X type for optimal cartridge matching for a pickup impedance from 6-100 Ohms including special configurations. This unit comes in its original factory setting as "S".
Specs for the "S" version: Pickup impedance range: 20 to 100 ohms.
For all configurations: DC Resistance: Less than 3 ohms Voltage Ratio: 16.8 to 1 Gain: 24.5 dB.  Tested and in excellent working order.
