Luxman CL-88

Classic Luxman CL-88 preamplifier in perfect shape, well, almost.  There is a tiny scratch towards the rear top which doesn’t show up in the photos I took.  Additionally, the silver paint has worn slightly on the 2 right corners of the topmost plate. None of these imperfections can be seen from 3 feet away, that is, I can’t see them perhaps as my eyes are almost 70. Age and minor marks make this item a 7/10.

I haven’t used this preamp to any consequence for a couple of years as I’ve had Decware and Levinson gear in the mix.  I sent the unit to the factory recommended service center for a check-up and service on the mute function. The service sticker is on the bottom of the unit and as far as I can tell it’s currently working perfectly.  I own the matching MQ-88 40 watt amp and as it has a volume control I’m using it to drive my Raidho’s.  Coupled with a switch box for the inputs, it’s working perfectly.  So, all my preamps and the Levinson are up for sale.
