Mytek Stereo 192-DSD

I'm selling this Mytek Stereo 192-DSD in nearly perfect condition. This is the silver "preamp" version. I've owned it since 2014 and used it as a DAC, preamplifier, and headphone amplifier, and it has performed flawlessly. It's built like a tank and sounds excellent.

If you are concerned about driver support, USB and FireWire drivers continue to work on my Windows 10 machine.  This DAC will accept DSD over AES or SPIDF, so it is future-proof in the sense that DSD and high-res PCM will continue to work with Mac, Windows or Linux computers via any inexpensive USB-to-SPIDIF or -AES converter.

For anyone in the "objectivist" crowd, I arranged to have this DAC (not just this model - the particular unit that I am selling) tested with an Audio Precision APx555 analyzer in late 2018.  It was confirmed to have excellent measured performance (in some respects, better than the more recent and expensive Brooklyn DAC), years after the model's introduction on the market.

I've owned this DAC through several moves, so the original box and owner's manual show some wear. 

Firmware on this DAC (which can be upgraded via FireWire only) is the final version released by Mytek, so, if you do not have FireWire, don't worry about it.

The buyer can pick up in midtown Manhattan or pay for shipping.  I prefer USPS Priority Mail (because it's cheap, fast, and reliable) but can also ship via UPS.  I will not ship via FedEx, which has been unreliable in my recent experience.
