Looking for a clean pair of Target RS2 stands, 24" in height. Just bought a nice pair of Proac Response 2S speakers here on Audiogon, and now need stands for them. Willing to pay a fair price plus actual shipping charges. If you have a pair just sitting around, I'd be happy to put them to use. Ship to Colorado
Questions for the seller |
---|
There have been alot of Target audio speaker stand models ( originally from the uk and later Canada and now owned by Bryston) as well as Target HIFI ( also a UK brand which is confusing) I can't say I'm familiar with an "RS" model. Do you have a photo of the stands you are looking for? is it a 2 pillar, 4 pillar, user assmeble, or fully welded? ( which is NOT how the current stands from Bryston or Target HIFI UK are made ). Hi Jamal-
The Target R2 was made in England, and was a fully welded 4 pillar stand that was 24" high. They were the heavy, go-to stand for the Proac Response 2 and 2S monitors. I just bought a nice vintage pair of the 2S and would really like to find a pair of the R2 stands. If that's not possible, I'll pick up a pair of the newer Target MR 24" 4 pillar stands |
I have a pair of Target (pre-Bryston) HS28 stands if you are interested - or if you can’t find the RS2 stands. I’ll be listing them in the next day or two. Message me if you have questions. They’d be shipped from 60317 (Chicago Suburb). Hi 1959weed
I'd buy 'em if they were the right height. Too tall for my speakers. Thanks for the offer though! |
