Artemis Labs PL-1

This is a tube phono preamp. Using 5 tubes: two 5687, two 12AX7 and one 6N1P. The Artemis Labs makes two versions: PH-1 (for MM or high output MC), PL-1 (for low output MC). I am selling PL-1 for traditional MC cartridges. This unit comes with a variety of resistors, so you can adjust loading ohms depending on your cartridge type. Very easy to change following the manual.
Sound: Truly nice, wide sound stage, deep sound stage, very TYPICAL clear and smooth character of TUBES! The sound is really smooth, but not losing details or any resolution. Brass instruments sound really BRASSY. This unit weighs 25 lbs, very sturdy and well made.     
Cosmetic: No dent or scratch, but some de-coloration to white  In the first picture, there is a strange image due to some reflection by mirror-like front surface.
