Dynaco ST-70 with Welborne/Kimmel Mod ST-70

For sale is an expertly modded Dynaco vintage power amplifier. I purchased the original amp on eBay and it was working and included the original assembly manual. I then purchased the Welborne mod kit that was designed by Alan Kimmel. The Welborne mod is considered one of, if not the best mods for this venerable amp. It has ultra high quality components from AudioCap, Nichicon, Wima and Dale. The wiring is upgraded in every location except the original transformers with the vintage cloth leads. The kit installation was performed by myself and has provided rock solid performance in my main system for over 10 years. It still sounds fantastic without a bit of noise. The EL-34 tubes are a NOS matched set with NOS Jan-Phillips the bias stage and the rectifier is a Mullard GZ34. The cabinet has been updated with a walnut trim piece and upgraded gold plated RCA and Speaker jacks. I will include the Welborne kit instructions with purchase.
