I am selling with companion P-05 player,which is the same price. Both for $7,000.00. each is available alone for $3,500.00 The D-05 is the world's first high performance digital to analog conversion system incorporating full 32 bit processing "AK4397" Delta-Sigma DAC device. (*)
Dual mono power supply and dual mono analog audio components for high musicality. There are two AKM 4397s in the D-05 – one for each channel and on separate L+R decoder boards. To compliment this dual-mono DAC arrangement, Esoteric adorned the unit with dual-mono power supply and analog components, including a large toroidal transformer for each channel as well. This lays the groundwork for a potentially, completely tricked out system in full extraction of every last precious bit of information as converted by the AKMs.
I am also selling the P-05, it's Esoteric recommended matching SACD/CD transport in order to enjoy the benefit of the D-05 fully, and vice versa.

Power consumption 16W Each unit has a discernable scratch on the top of its case. Could be reduced, as they are aluminum, and respond to buffing.
