This is the European-made Hattor passive preamplifier. Great reviews online and it sounds excellent. I'm only selling because I now have an integrated and don't need a preamp anymore.
This one has the gain option (an additional $350), so it will run completely passively or you can set it for 3 different gain settings (+3dB, +6db, or +9db). The gain as well as the volume are controlled by a sturdy remote control, which is included. And the Hattor separate power supply connects to the preamplifier with an umbilical.
This one also has the Takman REX resistors (an additional $300).
This is conservatively graded an 8 but I can't find any marks on it. It's a solid, well-made, beautiful piece of gear that comes in its own flight case. The heat sinks actually spell out "Hattor" if looked at from above (see photos). Shipping is a flat fee and includes insurance.

| Why are there 2 sets of outputs? I don't know. I always just used one set. Maybe so you can connect it to more than one amp? I'm not sure why you'd want to, though. |
