I am selling my Schiit Audio Bifrost DAC with AKM 4490 version; this incorporates the AKM AK4490 Verita® D/A converter, followed by a sophisticated fully discrete summing and gain stage with no capacitors in the signal path.
This DAC sounds great and you need to spend considerably more to get any significant audible improvement; I discovered the Audioquest Jitterbug (not included) made a notable improvement and takes this already musical and dynamic DAC up a few notches.
I am the original owner and have used in a PC/USB headphone setup with the matching Asgard; Always brought joy with Sennheiser HD598s;
