The
Full Power Balanced X Series consists of three stereo amplifiers, the
Full Power Bal- anced 700cx, 400cx, and 300cx Stereo Power Amplifiers
and three monaural amplifiers, the Full Power Balanced 750Mcx, 450Mcx,
and 350Mcx Monaural Power Amplifiers. Installation, connection, and
operation of all amplifiers in the Full Power Balanced series are
identical; however, a pair of Full Power Balanced Monaural amplifiers
are required for stereo operation.
Full Power Balanced amplifiers can be configured to accommodate any
sophisticated music or home theater system and can be operated by an
optional remote control or through the remote control of other Krell
components.
This owner’s reference manual contains important information on
placement, installation, and operation of the Full Power Balanced
amplifiers.

| Has this amp been restored by KRELL at any time? ( new caps, etc) Its running on almost 20 years old. Krell is still in business and offers a full servicing on this amp for 1500 bucks. Was wondering if it has already been done. As I said it is in exceptional condition and sonically the best sounding Krell amplifier we have ever had in mu-=y Audio Show r oom.

| Was this a 300c upgraded to a 400cx? Or a 400cx straight new from the factory? This is a supper clean trade in and sounds breath taking great is exceptionally great condition 8/10 or very likely even better.
I do not believe it has ever been serviced.

| Can it be switch to 240V power supply? Yes I can likely be switch it may need to go to the factory or it may need some extra work to switch the power will run somewhere between $100 - $400.
Before calling the factory and getting into it what is your offer where are you located how would it be shipping and paid ?
This is the best example you will find of this amplifier it is in better than eight out of 10 condition being as new lightly used an incredible sounding piece .

| Please, would it possible that you could contact Krell and get the service history? Thanks. The serial # is 15903100135 (updated the ad). This has been in storage for more than 5 years and was barely used by a Classical Music listener at very low volume and was never used much as his wife was not willing for him to play it at any reasonable listening volume.

As requested, I just got of the phone with Krell and the main service tech said, there is NO service history at Krell.
Additionally he said the caps are good possibly for lifetimes, if not played loudly / stressed, not used much.
Let me say this again, this is a new nearly perfect example being the nicest one available, was in storage for over 5 years and barely broken in. It sounds WONDERFUL and is likely the best example to be found. The sound is true Reference quality.
We are not interested in low offers and have a few interested party's and believe it will easily find the right buyer shortly.
