About two years ago the following upgrades were made to this turntable:
-The AC motor was replaced with the new DC motor. -The power supply for the DC motor was replaced with a new HR PSU high resolution power supply -The main bearing was replaced with a new inverted bearing and clamp -The platter was replaced with the ORBE platter. -The Gyrodec cover was replaced with a custom removable cover.
Tone arm to preamp RCA interconnect included. The unit is shown with a cartridge which is not included. Shipped in two boxes with set-up instructions.
SME maintains a service facility in England. Michell maintains a service facility in the eastern USA
