Nakamichi 582 cassette tape deck in very good condition.
This was gone through approx. 7 years ago by Willy Herman but then sat unused for 5 years. I have been using it a lot for the last two years and the SQ is glorious.
Only reason I am now selling is I have purchased both a 660zx and a zx-7 so this will be just overkill to keep.
I have made quite a number of recordings on it onto TDK and Maxell tapes but for the most part I have been playing pre recorded tapes through it.
I regularly clean the heads and capstans and demag it.
Items I know of that are not perfect;
The left VU meter works once in a blue moon, always been like that for me.
The pots are a little "scratchy" in operation, output I just leave on full but you do have to be careful with the record level pot. However this is ONLY while moving them, once at position you want there is ZERO unwanted sound.
De-oxit did NOT cure this.
Just full disclosure as want no surprises for anybody.
It plays back tapes just wonderfully, nothing quite sounds like a Nak apart from another Nak!
