Sigtone Shek D2

Reduced again!     NOS Shek D2 DAC for sale. I'm the original owner and this has not been used for 50 hrs.   I had more DACS then I could use so this had sat idle and stored in the closet .   Rated 7/10 only because there is a slight smudge on the face which can be seen with magnification of pic. .  

This is a non-oversampling DAC that uses the Cirrus Logic CS8412-IS receiver chip, and a single Phillips TDA1545A DAC chip. A highly recommended chip.

The output is .6 Volts or 600mV so use with a passive preamp may not provide enough gain.
All components and connectors are on PCB board.
Premium grade on-board Pure Copper Gold-plated Telfon RCA Jacks
 Digital receiver - CS8412-IS is used (not industrial version of CS8412-CS)
Toslink receiver - Toshiba TRX179 with self-tapping hole (support data rate 12.8Mb/s)

The beauty of the DAC is no Active I/V stage at the Output.

Well-renowned Motorola voltage regulators are used
2mm WHITE FR4 PCB board
