This is a beautiful, black, PerfectWave DAC Mk 2. It was bought in April 2014. This makes it one of the latest PWD-2's. It's in perfect condition. I have the remote control, power cord, and original shipping box. The DAC has only been used in a smoke free, child free, and pet free environment. I split time between 2 locations, so the PWD-2 has only been used about half of the time since it was purchased.
The PWD-2 has a variable output so it can be connected directly to you power amp rather than connecting through a preamp. The volume is then controlled with the remote control.
Digital inputs include Coax, Toslink, XLR, USB, and I2S. Outputs are provided for both balanced and single ended. I've tested both outputs, and Coax, Toslink, and USB and they all work fine. I don't have the equipment to test the XLR and I2S outputs. I've never used them.
