For Sale, package deal of one Pangea Audio Octet Premier XL
AC Power Distribution block with a Shunyata Venom Defender Surge
protector. Original retail price of this combination is $700. This
is the high end XL version of the Pangea Octet, with Cardas Grade-One copper
wiring and Gold Plated Beryllium Copper Contacts.
Octet features a sealed, all-metal cabinet
housing for maximum radio frequency [RFI] and electromagnetic [EMI] noise
suppression, plus 8 premium audio-grade 20A/15A [NEMA 5-20] AC outlets. The
pure power path with zero current-limiting electronic components in the
conductor path uses hand-soldered connections Cardas Grade One Copper internal
wiring. The high-grade 20 amp IEC power cable input uses an included heavy-duty
5-ft. detachable AC power cord and has a power on/off LED.
As the Octet is a distribution block and not a
surge suppressor, I have packaged it with a Shunyata Venom Defender Surge
Suppressor that simply plugs into one of the outlets or your wall outlet for
noise reduction and surge protection. It does an excellent job of reducing background power line noise.
