McIntosh MC-30

For sale is a good condition pair of McIntosh MacKit 30 amplifiers with sequential serial numbers: 1766A and 1767A. The MacKit 30 amps were only produced for 1 year between 1960 to 1961. Although they were sold as a kit, some MacKit 30's were built by McIntosh technicians and sold fully assembled. Regardless of who built these two amps, they are very nicely assembled with clean component layouts and well soldered joints.

I bought them recently and they sounds wonderful but I decided to stick with my solid state setup. I'm trying to recoup what I paid for them.

The amps show normal signs of age, and I recommend checking the photos carefully as they are the best indication of condition. I will add more pictures later today. There is a dent in the left front corner of the output transformer on one unit. This happened before the amp came into my possession.

Amps were just serviced by a local McIntosh expert, a few caps were replaced and they are both up to spec, they perform and sound beautiful.
