NAKAMICHI DRAGON CD TRANSPORT, DAC, PS AND REMOTE (THE HOLY GRAIL)!

This is the last and best piece from our collection to come from L.A. Audio before it closed for business! Considered within the top 5 all time audio collectibles ever! It is a one owner, no pet, no children ensemble that has been kept on display in a custom cabinet for 10 years and very seldom played! Maybe 200 hours at the most. Before that as mentioned it remained brand new at L.A.AUDIO in a case on display and never played during that time. If you don't know the history behind the "Dragon" it was Nakamichi's all out assault at the state of the art CD systems at the time and sold for over $10,000. Only 300 were produced and about 100 or so stayed in Japan, the rest were distributed to select dealers worldwide of which L.A. Audio was one. Very, very rarely will these come up for sale and when they do they are either incomplete or certainly not in mint condition as these are, ( see photo's). The unit's were checked and serviced by Avatar Engineering and the system is perfect sonically also! The sound performance is divine and compares to our reference system! One of the most beautiful sets ever made too!  Lastly these Gem's have been appreciating year after year, We don't have the original boxes or manual and prefer local pickup, however we will have the units professionally packed, shipped and insured if necessary.
