GoldenEar Technology Triton Reference

Offered for sale are a sensational, true full range floor standing speakers. And by full range, I mean deep, powerful, tuneful bass due to their built in 1800 watt subwoofer amplification. This does not mean they are bass heavy sounding; just right. No coherence issues with trying to integrate a sub woofer, which is far more difficult than most know. I've had the pleasure of loving and owning high end musical equipment since 1980 and can honestly report that the Triton Reference may be the finest I have owned, irrespective of their sub $10,000 price point. There is a reason why many ultra high end retailers offer the GoldenEar Technology line. I've paired these with both tube and solid state amplification and even though the sound is different, I enjoy them either way. Super smooth, zero listening fatigue and a soundstage that is wide and deep. Can't ask for more. My wife and I are downsizing our home and unfortunately that means i'm relegated to in walls or much smaller speakers. Bummer to have to let these go. I just love them. Unfortunately, I will not ship them. They are local pick up only unless of course the buyer arranges for shipping assistance as I cannot manage 130lb (shipping weight each inclusive of all original packaging) from an upstairs listening room. These retail for $9000.00. These speakers have less than 50 hours of listening time and therefor not even broken in yet; they need at least 100 hours.
