These two 30-watt McIntosh monoblock amplifiers are
identical, though one is an MC-30 and the other a MacKit 30. The MacKit 30 has the exact same design and components, and
was designed to be assembled by hobbyists, but this one was assembled by the dealer who sold it, and
approved by the traveling McIntosh representative (see below).

They are only rated as Good (7 out of 10) because of the cosmetic wear on the MC30, as shown in photos, after 60 years. It is very difficult to give them
up after
all these years, but moving means downsizing.

Both
were serviced at the official McIntosh center, Audio Classics, in 2009
and 2015, each showing 48 watts output. The sheets showing all the detailed maintenance
are included for the MC-30 in both 2009 and 2015, and the MacKit-30 has the sheet from
2009 and a 2015 bill with general details from Audio Classics showing
the $400+ to keep it in top shape.

Also included,
only because we still have them!, are the test result graphs for both amps from McIntosh
travelling clinics (see below) in 1963, 1966, 1971 and 1972.

Bonuses: four precision-matched J&J 6L6 tubes, given as a gift, have just been installed, though the previous tubes were working fine, and are included, plus two other unused 6L6 tubes from Audio Classics. Also: The McIntosh 54-page booklet “The McIntosh
Amplifier Clinics,
1962-1991” by David H. O’Brien, telling the story of those clinics which
brought
equipment up to speed at McIntosh franchises---for free! And a PhotoFax brochure, with schematic.

Please
note: these two McIntosh amplifiers will be shipped by UPS Ground in
two Audio Classics double-boxes and insured.
