Aesthetix Romulus Eclipse DAC/CD Player only 9 months old

Selling this very, very premium, highly-awarded all-tube component, Aesthetix Romulus DAC/CD Player, Eclipse level, functionally flawless, cosmetically very nearly so (there's a barely visible sort of light area on top which I only noticed during my customary close pre-sale inspection.)  This unit is a current model.  I bought it new at the top Eclipse upgrade level from an authorized dealer in January 2019, moderately used in house with no smoking, pets or children.  I stress the quality of it due to my own experience, checking all the audiophile boxes but surpassing that to put out smooth, beautifully-toned music.  In a rave review of the original model, Robert Harley of The Absolute Sound called it "one of the greatest bargains in high end audio".  The new, just-arrived November issue of TAS with its "2020 High-End Audio Buyer's Guide" of "top picks in every category" includes the Romulus in this group (p. 150).  Among the original Romulus's other awards are the TAS Product of the Year, and a TAS Editor's Choice this year (2019).  Again, these awards are for the original, stock model, and my unit is the much higher-performing Eclipse top upgrade level.  If you're reading this, you probably know that Aesthetix is known for the outstanding performance of its components and their exceptional value, as well as the sterling reputation of designer Jim White.  Being a big Aesthetix fan with two other of its major components (amp and preamp) in my system, my plan was to keep the Romulus and wait to buy an Aesthetix streamer, then call it a digital ball game for the long run.  However I eventually realized that an Aesthetix streamer is not forthcoming any time soon.  As a result I decided to go way up the digital ladder to a component more than double the price, which I felt is what you'd have to pay to get significantly better sound quality than the Romulus Eclipse.  This explains why I am selling a component I think so highly of so relatively soon after buying it.  Lack of foresight and planning will cause me the biggest financial loss in all my decades of system building.  This component is seldom seen on the used market, let alone at Eclipse level, and in such relatively new and excellent condition.  All original accessories and packaging included.  Buyer pays 3% Paypal and shipping.  I'll remove tubes for shipping per Aesthetix's practice.
