Regarding this specific cable: WYWIRES PLATINUM  
"Platinum was introduced in 2014, a series that takes most of the elements of the original Silver Line and adds additional conductor material of varying gauges of Litz wire to accomplish the goals of higher bandwidth and greater frequency extension, especially at the low end of the spectrum with increased dynamic range and “slam”.  In addition, the Platinum adds greater dimensional information along with more separation of instruments and performers within the soundstage." 
What this means in the real world is that the Soundstage of your music will open up, giving you a greater sense of hearing real instruments in your room. That is, a piano is going to sound more like a piano and the notes that you hear will be clearer and more accurate. You will likely be able to separate the sound of a cello from a viola from a violin and so forth. The music of each instrument will become more distinct from the surrounding instruments that it plays with, giving you a greater sense of realism. When I incorporated these interconnects into my system, I was shocked at the huge difference that they made. It was one of the few times that I was like, "OMG" and I found myself laughing out loud because I couldn't believe what my ears were hearing!

The cables listed are terminated with Furutech RCA / XLR terminals. As an authorized WyWires Dealer, and the only authorized WyWires Dealer in NYC, we carry and can provide any and all WyWires products, even at custom lengths!
