For sale Lampizator Golden Gate in mint condition. Single-ended with volume, latest PCM and Lampizator DSD512 engine.
The unit has just returned from Lampizator, where all the latest factory updates have been installed (latest DSD512 engine; latest USB firmware, DSD-PCM auto select in software, so there is no more need for manual switching; new improved muting circuit for flawless silent file type switching + some corrections of schematics to the latest specs, focusing on sound quality improvements), unit rechecked and recalibrated.
The DAC comes with the superior 5942x PCM engine. I once asked Lampizator about the difference between this PCM engine and their R2R option to which Łukasz replied:
"5942x is our best sounding engine. Is an audible improvement over the engine we had before, including the 5942 sans X. The R2R upgrade will still beat all our previous PCM solutions, except the 5942x".
One owner unit, comes with a full 3 years warranty (Lampizator offers 3 years of transferrable warranty for their products after the full factory service).
USB input + 3 SPDIF digital inputs: BNC, RCA and AES/EBU (AES/EBU can be factory swapped to TosLink at no extra cost).
115V / 230V switchable.
Sold without tubes. For $300 extra, I can supply the DAC with the following brand new set of tubes:
- KR45
- 300-98B Mesh - the best of China (standard on Golden Gate)
- or very slightly used 101D WE Replicas
