McIntosh MC-7205

McIntosh MC-7205 in excellent condition. I'm the second owner. I purchased in early 2013. At that time, I had all new lamps installed and also replaced both the power control switch and the meter function control switch. The amp is in excellent condition, there may be a few minor flaws with very close inspection, however, you would have to look critically to find any. There is not a single scratch on the front glass. It's a McIntosh, so the sound is, as you would expect, superb!  My reason for selling is that I recently moved and only have room for a single HT system, I actually have two of these amps; I'm keeping one.

Rest assured that functionally, the amp is in excellent working condition.  At the end of August, I took it to an authorized McIntosh service center to address an issue that I had with the power guard on the right channels. As it turned out, that issue was the result of a loose solder joint. Fortunately, it was an easy fix; the solder joint was repaired and all other solder joints that looked questionable were all re-soldered. The amp was given a "clean bill of health". It should be good for many years to come. The receipt for service will be included in the sale.
