Sony HAP-Z1ES

This is a very high quality music player/streamer from Sony that is built like a tank and is capable of upsampling whatever files it's fed thanks to it's DSD "engine" it has inside. The HAP-Z1ES supports High-Resolution Audio formats such as DSD, FLAC, WAV, and ALAC, as well as compressed formats like MP3, AAC, ATRAC, and WMA, restoring their quality closer to that of the original.  In it's current state, it is meant primarily to stream from your personal audio files either stored on the built in 1TB drive or stored on an external (possibly larger) USB drive for example, plugged into the back of the machine.  I believe it will also stream Spotify as well.  Apparently, Sony has not yet decided to update it's software so one can use Tidal or Qobuz, but hopefully, that update is coming!   Has both XLR and RCA outputs on the back as well as a USB input to connect your USB storage drive.  A superb machine at it's $1999 list price.  A steal at only $999!  Control it with it's remote, or your phone or tablet.    Paypal adds 3%.   Please note that Sony does not include an owner's manual with this unit.  An owner is supposed to look it up online as directions are quite extensive!
