Sonus Faber Elipsa SE

Sonus Faber Elipsa SE's were purchased several years ago from our Premier dealer of High End Audio in the Philadelphia area,  David Lewis Audio. The price of these new was $22,900 which was a couple thousand over standard Elipsa and they have upgraded drivers as well as an exceptional wood finish . These are in mint condition and are flawless. I have the original boxes, packing materials, feet, manuals, and string grills.  They are easy to drive and sound beautiful with tubes (VAC 300.1A) and Solid State (Burmester 911 mk11) These Elipsa speakers are well known not only for their aesthetic beauty - they allow recordings to sound their best!!!! Instead of highlighting the flaws in a recording, they manage to emphasize the strengths. 

They cast an enormous soundstage, clean tight bass, and super smooth and easy listening mids and highs.  Cosmetically they are fantastic. 

The Sonus faber Elipsa Special Edition, is a modified and upgraded version of the already exceptional performing Elipsa. Chief among the updates is the implementation of the same high frequency drive unit found in the flagship model of the homage range, the Stradivari. The addition of this ultra-high performance ring radiator provides an extraordinary level of sonic refinment, openness and extension.
