Luxman M-1600 amplifier 80 watts per channel of pure musicality :)

Beautifull looking and sounding Luxman m-1600 amplifier. This is a perfect exemple of an amplifier hand made by crafty artisans of days gone bye.  
This amplifier sounds lively, with surprisingly deep base, liquid highs, and coherent sound stage.  The music is not coloured, but sounds warm. I briefly matched it with my luxman cl-40 lamp pre-amp, and it sounded wonderfull. This amplifier will not be out of place with high end lamp gear. It is detailed and punchy without being over analytical; it is very musical.   
This is a domestic japanese model (100v). A step down transformer is included in this sale and will be shipped along with it to allow safe and cool operation at 120v. As a bonus the transformer protects this fine amplifier from electric spikes.      
If you need a preamplifier for an extra $150 I will include an A220 pre-amp (see picts) from the same era. The pre-amp  features separate controls for left and right bass and treeble, low cut/high cut and attenuate controls plus a 250/500hz switch.  The A220 preamp is a nice match sonically, the facias looks fine, but the A220 was sold as a kit and the wodden case of the preamp is home made and painted white.  The buyer may consider to have someone make a case for the preamp that would match the beautifull finish of the M-1600 walnut case.   
Shipping is $75 anywhere in North America for the amplifier,+  an extra $50 if you choose to purchase the preamp as well..
