This gorgeous Boenicke Rack was a very special order. Engineered to use the clever Boenicke Stanchions and cable to suspend 3 inch cherry shelves that are 76 inches long...all while keeping that wonderful natural yet understated appearance. The shelves float on the cable inside the legs!! Each shelf has two columns of steel inside, so that each shelf could handle a 275lb turntable directly in its middle, while maintaining level. Quite a design. We have a pair of these ; one near mint available for pick up in San Diego, and one in good+ (looks great from a listening chair, or from any normal view during regular use) condition available for delivery on the east coast, or if you're patient, in the continental US.
