AUM ACOUSTICS TUBE BUFFER & 2ND ORDER HARMONICS GENERATOR

THIS IS AN EXCITING & BRAND NEW PRODUCT THAT IS NOW FOR SALE!

What Is It?

This Is A Single Ended, Single 9 Pin 6922 Triode Tube Buffer That Provides The Cleanest 2nd Order Harmonics That Only A Quality Tube Can Create. It's Purpose Is To Provide The Absolute Best 3 Dimensional Sound Quality With A Sound Stage That Is Wide And Deep With The Least Accompanying Distortion That Typically Is Included With Lower Cost Solutions.

What Does It Cost?

This Unit And A Good External Passive Volume Control Will Provide A Sound Quality That Typically Only A $20K Preamp Provides Without Any Of The Complexity And Without The High Cost.

My Price Is Actual Parts Cost Plus Actual Shipping and PayPal Cost - Only For This One Single Triode Tube Buffer Unit. I'll Also Include A "Holy Grail" 6n23p 1975 Reflector SWGP Silver Shield Tube And A NOS Furutech Rhodium Plated Fuse At No Additional Cost. (A passive volume control unit is not included nor is a good audiophile IEC power cable. These two items need to be provided by the purchaser. I'll be glad to provide solutions or recommendations if you need them. Just ask for help.)

My Selling Price For Only This 1 Unit is $2,950 (parts cost only)
You Pay Actual Shipping Cost (UPS Insured Ground)
You Pay The PayPal Fee (if PayPal is used)
I'll Include a free 1975 Reflector "Holy Grail" 6n23p tube
I'll Include a free Furutech Rhodium Plated Discontinued Fuse

Will This Be The Future Cost?

No. I've built only two of these units to introduce them, and only these two will be available for parts cost (plus a free rare and expensive NOS triode tube and fuse). I've just sold the first unit so only 1 remains available.

Orders beyond this parts cost only introductory unit will be made on a custom order basis and will include payment for my actual labor and a proration for my research and development costs involved in bringing this unit to market. The selling price consequently will be higher. Also, build time will be approximately 3-4 months for each ordered unit and the build will begin only after all of the parts are then purchased using the new order deposit.

I've spent well over a year perfecting this already excellent circuit. More about it's history is included on my website. Because this unit sounds superb and my R&D has worked out so well, I'm now offering it as a custom built to order commercial product.

This originally started out as a single tube buffer design. However, I've gradually transformed it into the cleanest and most beautiful 2nd order harmonics generator that I've ever heard. My goal was to provide the cleanest blackest background with the least possible noise and to then inject the most beautiful 2nd order tube harmonic distortion for use in a high end audiophile music system. After considerable time and investment, I've ended up with the most beautiful tube sound quality possible without the typical undesirable tube distortion.

Rather than trying to explain this product here, I would like you to visit my website where you can view numerous photos and gain a glimpse into how I ended up building this incredible unit and why you might consider purchasing one.

How To Find My Website?

My website is located at aumacoustics but you will need to add a proper extension to view it.

You can find this site using the common extension used on the web. If you need help finding this site, send a message and I'll respond. The Agon system doesn't easily allow for using website or email addresses in ads so I'll avoid trying to do that.

I'm attaching a few photos of this new unit with this ad. It measures 13" wide x 10" deep x 3.25" high. I've built two units for sale and have already sold  the first one. I now only have one available at this introductory price, and it's built, tested, and ready to ship.

I'm selling these first two units for the actual parts cost used in their construction. I'm not including my labor cost or my R&D expenses (which are quite extensive). Once both units have been sold, I'll then offer these units only upon a custom order request. I'll be adding a proper amount for my labor cost and a proration of my extensive R&D costs to every unit beyond these first two. Also, I'll ask for money up front to purchase the parts. The amount remaining for my time and to help recoup R&D costs will be due just prior to shipment of the completed unit. Time to build a custom order unit will be around 3-4 months and depend upon parts availability and other vendors time requirements.

This particular unit is an absolute bargain and I'll be including one of my rare 1975 6n23p "Holy Grail" triode tubes with it at no cost. It's been an extreme effort and has taken almost a year to accumulate a small stash of these rare tubes so this alone is a considerable gift. I want anyone who owns this unit to hear this tube and use it as their reference. Through my own research and in my own opinion, it's the absolute best in this circuit.
Future units will require the purchase of one of these tubes at a fairly high cost since they are really difficult to find. I'll provide one only for a new purchaser and not for general sale. If they were readily available, I wouldn't have to limit their sale. However, they are rare, very worth using, and are becoming very difficult to find as time goes on.

For my efforts and the expense involved with these first two units, I'm asking each of the owners of these first 2 units to provide me with an extensive review of how this unit worked out in their audio system - positive or negative. I already know how good it is so I'm only looking for confirmation so other's who don't have one of these units understands that what I'm sharing is actually true.

Let me know if you have questions. It's a whole lot of fun to introduce something that sounds this good. I'm not doing this to make money or to get rich. If I was, I'd be doing something totally unrelated to designing and building audio products. Rather, my interest is in sharing something that I've been trying to find for myself during my extensive audio journey.

This is that rare piece that I've always wanted to own but couldn't find for so long.
I'm a professional jazz piano player and have been building audio components for several decades. I'm also a small audio dealer for select components that truly provide superb value. I do know what good sound quality is and also know how to put together an audio system that provides it. This new Aum Acoustics triode tube buffer/harmonizer has been the missing piece and the best component I've owned to date. It's finally now available!

Thanks for checking out this ad and I hope to find another owner for the remaining Aum Acoustics tube buffer/harmonizer that I'm listing here for sale.

Thanks again,
Richard

Questions for the seller
Hi! I'm so glad to see you're back! I have one of your original LDR volume controls and it's the best ever! Trounces preamps I've owned costing as much as $8K. Ray
Hi Ray, Thank you for the nice message. That LDR volume control is one of my favorites. Combined with the new tube buffer/harmonizer that I've built is amazing. The harmonizer takes the LDR way and beyond its clarity and rivals a super expensive preamp but is much simpler. I only wish that others understood how well this buffer works. Since they don't, it might not make it as a commercial product yet is the absolute best thing I've ever used or built in my lifetime. Since you know that when something is good, I build it, you can only imagine what this buffer/harmonizer does. Unfortunately, it costs a lot to build and doesn't leave much for time and R&D expenses. So I'm now wondering if it's unsaleable and I should just move on and use it for myself. Time will tell. Thanks again, Richard
I wish economis circumstances were better, but the ploriferation of stores and their concommitant usurpation of pricing norms on this site seems to have convinced customers into thinking they are buying better products by pushing refurbished transistor receivers from the worst era of transistor hifi - the 70's and 80's - and new products that aren't pushed by ad campaigns and hype are therefore harder to sell. I sold audio during the 80's and know for a fact the receivers at the time are the reason I went into tubes - this is when they were new, and I can't ever be convinced that any refurb is going to make an old receiver sound anywhere as clear, noiseless or musical as a new product produced by someone who actually knows the difference. Every other ad in this site is from one store or another, not from individuals selling used equipment for lower prices. I sincerely hope for your success, as one of the few I have seen here who actually shares our obsession with clarity and true musicality based on fidelity to the music.
Hello Ray, Yes, I understand completely what you're describing. It's true. However, there is little to no money involved in doing things correctly. It actually costs the way I do things and is no way to run a business. To make a business successful, you need profitability. Profitablity in audio, however, generally means taking advantage of the consumer. My quest for audio has never been about making money. Rather, it is the creation of a quality audio listening system that motivates me. I always attempt to do the very best I possibly can without concern for the expense. When I finally end up with something worth sharing, I never get my money back and am lucky to sell what I have for parts cost. R&D and labor go uncompensated. That's very unfortunate since people that I don't have a chance to work with never realize that there is a better way to create even better audio quality than what they purchase from normal retailers. I doubt that I will be able to gather enough sales momentum to get the word out about the value of what I'm offering. Still, I keep trying and I really enjoy sharing my positive findings even though it costs me more in the end than what anyone really knows. Thanks again for your comments. I appreciate what you're saying and I do believe that the audio industry is one of the worst industries around in terms of taking in huge amounts of cash from unsuspecting people and not providing anything of value close to the money spent. Thanks again, Richard
