Thiel Audio CS 2.4

I purchased these last summer 2019 from their original owner and fellow A’gon  member in NYC. Having recently decided to return to a monitors/subwoofer setup, I am putting these up for grabs.  And I do mean grabs - LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. 

Consecutive serial numbers # 2093/2094.  
Includes appropriate literature.
 
The left speaker #2094 had been located near a radiator in the seller’s apartment and suffered a minor - IMHO - blistering of the mdf cabinet and its veneer.  I attempted to remedy the situation as best I could, but my % of success is pretty much up to any prospective buyer.  It only affected the base of the cabinet - the drivers are all 100% functioning as they should, completely operational.  

PLUS:  Sale INCLUDES a spare midrange/tweeter driver. (pictured) This is worth approximately $400 alone - possibly more.


From any listening position both speakers look fine. Of course, they sound like Thiel - accurate, colorless, music-true. 

The owners manual suggests a power range of 100 - 400 watts.  

These weigh 70 pounds apiece - the same as the CS 3.5 model which I also love - but these are taller and narrower, making finding the right positions a helluva lot easier.  

Frequency response is 36hz-25khz,  4 ohms nominal impedance.  Sensitivity 87db.  41.5 inches high X 11 inches wide X 14” deep

I paid significantly more than what I am asking for here. These are the lowest priced CS 2.4 model you’ll find anywhere.  

Again, local pick up only. Easy peasey to get to my house, located on first floor. Two steps. Driveway.  Easy. 

I have 100% positive feedback here on A’gon and I consider my reputation here and elsewhere to be extremely important.
