this unit
We have here a sweet pair of Reference 250SE amps from Audio Research. These units were converted by Audio Research from
Standard 250 to 250SE models. They are in great shape and after testing are
working great. Current tube set is a new
set from Audio Research with only 242 hours on them. Factory boxes, 20amp power
cords, and manual included. A rare and special tube amplifier from one of the
best in the business.

20kHz. 1kHz total harmonic distortion typically 0.5% at 250 watts, below .04%
at 1 watt. Approximate actual power available at “clipping” 270 watts (1kHz).
(Note that actual power output is dependent upon both line voltage and
“condition” i.e. if power line has high distortion, maximum power will be
affected adversely, although from a listening standpoint this is not very
critical.)
