Please see all photos.

All photos are ours. Taken over a 5 year period with best looking photos first.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6, 9 & 10th, photos are as they sit now. Also the last pic.

Owned these for nearly 9 years.
Kept them longer than any speaker we ever owned.

The condition is pretty good for the age.

With some faint marks here and that do not show in the photos.
They do not detract very much.
1 grill edge corner has a small hole. Another corner is faintly just starting hard to see it.

A few of the binding post outer black cup plastic edges have chipped off over the years. Where the philips screws hold the cups on to the wood.
The binding posts are fine.

2 of the rubber decorative holes plugs have been replaced with very close style plugs that are pushed in replacements on the white face. Not glued.

Also on the grill 2 of the rubber gromets are missing but yet do not effect the mounting of the grills. There are still sub tabs on there that holds fine.

The foam surrounds were done about 5 years ago.
Interior foam replaced at that time.

We have extensive experience here and on other sites shipping audiophile items.
You found the right guy to ship these.

We generally get right on shipments and do not delay.
Prompt and studious about shipping things.

We have enjoyed these speakers allot but after nearly 9 years it’s time to pass them on.

The Mission 707 was $450 in 1985-86 and they sold a few of these.

Yet you don’t see very many for sale.
People hang on to them.

See the HiFi review of these. Read the entire review especially the end.
The proof is in the listening, correctly put.

Music best suited is jazz, smooth jazz or we call it 80’s rebaged dance music> new age shines or chamber music.

While they do play loud and can move air.
Rock music may be favored with a more bass heavy speaker of the period.

If you like the Spendor BC-1. SP-1, S-20, Spica TC 50, Linn speakers. You will like these allot.

Acoustic open sound we found to be the strong point.
Efficient is another one.

The upper bass region is tight and together with no flab.
The over all presentation is musical & far above it’s class or price point.

Good stands are absolute must 20 to 23" high.

Keep in Mind 1985 was a long time ago. These speakers look pretty good considering all that time.
Not new, not perfect, not sealed. But nice enough examples.

707’s only come up a few times a year.
Some people or places do not even follow the value correctly.

Most that sell need rebuilding and are given away in poor shape for a song.
So the values are not really set on the 707 as others.

Not so many sell not needing work either.

They will be missed and we have compared many many far more expensive speakers that only lasted about 20 minutes then we put these back on the stands.

The ones that we did like were the KEF 104Ab, A few of the Spendor’s. But they costed more and could not justify keeping them.

The ones we were suprised did not favor quite as well was the B&W 602, 601 & KEF 103/3. Many of the Paradigm models we felt not near as detailed either.

As suprising as that was to us.

We felt these to simply give more detail all the way around. Musical quality to them.

We do love those models we tested though over the years.
This is only our opinion, musical tastes are different.

Which says allot about a speaker of this price point.
Those are larger more expensive UK speakers we tried to compare to.
We are 20 minutes from Vestal NY.

The Target stands are sold <gone> and not included so we have no way to properly
audition them now.

Regarding shipping yes, we will do our best to drop off to FedEx on time.

But, if there is curfew in the entire state of NY due to the virus, there could be a delay.
We will do our best to get them out though.

Shipping is a flat rate of $58 with FedEx ground service only.
FedEx is all we use.

To the USA lower 48 states only.
No international shipping is offered or shipping to Canada.

Very securely packaged.

Local pickup is also fine.
