Halcro Amplifiers MC-70

Up for sale is a Non working Halcro MC-70 Chassie with Seven LYRUS Audio Class D Amp modules and a ethernet card. All of the modules are in good working order. The issue with the Amp itself is related to a power supply. Halcro quoted a 1600 dollar repair quote and that is more that I want to put into it.

I have been in the high end custom electronics business for over 25 years so I am not someone that picked this up off the street. I took this in on a upgrade trade in and felt like I should offer it to someone out there looking for parts or someone that has the time and desire to rebuild.

If you know anything about Halcro you know this is an awesome amp and would make someone a nice addition to any home theater. It is sold as is. If you want the whole thing, I will ship it as the photos show or if you want the individual Class D Amp Modules, I will ship only those. The Modules are in Mint condition and have only been removed for the photos shown and troubleshooting with Halcro.

This Amp has had one owner. I installed this amp in 2007 at a clients house and I took it in on trade 2010 because it would not power up. It was brought back to my shop, boxed up and sat in my warehouse until now 2020. Two weeks ago I pulled it out and began troubleshooting it with Halcro where I discovered that all of the modules are good but there is a power supply issue and the two big magnets inside the unit need replacing. it would cost more time and money than I am willing to put into it.

I do not have any manual and the amp does not come with a remote. I have had it on my network and I am able to interface with it using the halcro software. I will take 1000 plus shipping as is, because I don't want to see it go to waste. If not sold I will dispose of it.
