Tube phono preamplifier from Cayin Audio GmbH, Model PS-2. MM / Moving Magnet only (would need to be paired with a step-up transformer to run MC), 2x12AX7 circuit with an internal toroidal power supply- features you don't usually see in phono stages under $1000. It has a pretty rich and detailed sound compared to other circa $1K phono stages I've tried, I don't know exactly how much gain it has, but I've been using it with Ortofon 2m bronze/black cartridges, which are about as high output as you can find, and the sound is still clean and punchy- I would imagine it would run any MM cart without problem. It's a full-sized component, about 17.5" wide, 12" deep and about 4" tall. Made sometime in the 2000s... It had a checkup / cap job done a while back and a matched pair of vintage Japanese 12AX7s are in it now, I'll ship it with a spare set of Electro Harmonix tubes as well. It's in nice cosmetic shape overall, but there are some marks on the upper left and right edges of the aluminum faceplate that you can see in some of the closeup pics. They are hard to see ( even in person ) due to the black finish. Any questions please ask, thanks!
