Original owner, It's been in continuous use - never a problem. Wonderful sounding DAC, not bright and edgy like so many DACs and digital streamers. This was a very highly regarded and acclaimed DAC back when it hit the market. It's liquid smooth with great detail and sound staging. It's not a DAC you get tired of listening to...but will make you question if getting up to spin vinyl is worth it.
I've used several different CD transports over the years and found each time I sent it a better signal I was rewarded with better sound. Lately I've been feeding it .aiff files that I've ripped and rendered using JRiver or a Bluesound device. Tidal MQA files sound amazing even though this DAC does not do the final MQA unfolding.
This unit has digital inputs for: XLR, BNC, RCA and optical. Balanced XLR & singled-ended RCA outputs.
Feel free to ask questions. The unit is in excellent shape, but there is one little mark on the upper right corner of the face plate.
