A really wonderful sounding tube phono preamp; check out Michael Fremer’s rave review in Stereophile. Provides wonderful holographic images from a high-quality moving oil cartridge. The unit is in great shape, save one small scratch on top of the power supply unit, perhaps half an inch long. I have endeavored to photograph it to the best of my ability. Otherwise the unit looks and works great. I am the second owner.

I have never owned Viva equipment. Does this come with the phono and a separate power supply? Looks like you have two different components pictures. One with 4 small tubes and the other has 2 larger tubes. Yes, the larger unit with 2 300B tubes is the power supply; the smaller unit with 4 tubes (12AX7) is the amplifier unit. They are connected by an umbilical cord and can be placed on different shelves. |
