B&W 801s -The house monitoring and mixing choice at Abbey Road Studios. Extremely rare and almost impossible to find a limited edition version of the best and most highly acclaimed recording studio monitors of all time! These are the Anniversary Limited Edition 801 Matrix speakers. What makes these so unique over the 801 Matrix Series II and Series III (that are also very highly regarded)? Well, much better and upgraded crossover design. The retail prices of these over the Series II and Series III reflect those efforts as well (These were $8000 retail vs $5500 for the Series II and III). Great bass extension and a beautiful soundstage. Many still believe these to be the best sounding speakers B&W has made. Included in the price is a pair of center stage Sound Anchor stands. In very good physical condition.
