Time to bid adieu to the Preamp that outlasted all the others in my three systems. This was the front end to my cherished KSA-50 amp. They ruled the house for many years. Several months ago one lucky Audiogoner purchased the KSA 50. I hung onto the KRC-3 in the hope that it could be put to use, but I’ve gone all in on Bel Canto gear so the KRC-3 remains an orphan. Ken Kessler (the reviewer) said it best back in 1996 “…the KRC-3 performs one of the best ‘disappearing acts’ Krell has yet to accomplish.” Read the review:

Thank you for your interest in the Krell. Unfortunately the Torx wrench was lost after my last move. The remote stopped working several years ago. IT looked bullet proof but proved to be otherwise. I never replaced it. |
