Parasound PLD-2000 Direct Line Preamp John Curl Design 8/9

The 2000 has just been returned from service done by
Parasound techs at Parasound Products.

I marked it as a 8 but depending who
is grading it - it could be closer to a 9. There is a small light
scuff mark by the cabinet top  other wise very clean. Took the
photos outside so there is a little sun reflections bright spots

I’ve had a variety of nice equipment over the years including
at least 40 sets of speakers but for me when I added the 2000 to my
system it was the first time i ever heard the sound I had been
searching for.
To quote another fan; "Inside are gold plated
boards. All twenty relay switches are 24K gold plated. Vishay and
Caddock resistors. All silver plated copper internal wiring. S/N
level is almost 120 db’s. A true dual mono design. This is the best
preamplifier ever made under Two grand. And now the frosting on the
cake. 92,0000 microfarads of storage capacitance!!!" - Don’t
forget that the unit also has lots of high quality Black Gate and
Nichicon capacitors...stock!"
