If you are reading this listing, don't. Just take a look at the pics. The picturesque gold and bright red plates are an amazing sight to behold and so far off tangent from the common sights of silver and black in today's hifi. And this picture only tells one side of the story. Their musical presence is also, simply beyond words. The purity, transparency and vivid realness is out of this World. In our opinion, they will easily rival the best from FM Acoustics, another uber expensive brand from Switzerland. The engineering (you can read more about them on darTZeel's website) behind them is mind boggling to say the least. Controls and their architecture have a rock solid feel and just broadcasts the luxurious materials and workmanship involved. Power output on the NHB-108 is 100W in 8 ohm and 160W in 4 ohm and is recommended by darTZeel as the perfect partner to the preamp. Input 1 on the preamp is for the turntable with a MC cartridge. It is factory set for 60 dB gain and a load of 836 ohm. This should be good for an MC cartridge with an output level of 0.3 to 1 mV. Included is a pair of 25ft BNC cable that was used to connect the preamp to the power amp. Cables are custom ordered (cost $5,000) by the previous owner so that he could set the power amp right in between the speakers whereas the preamp was placed on a rack by the side of his listening room. The current versions of the same combo would set you back $88,000. If you are looking for a pre/power combo to end your hifi journey, these may very well be it. If it was me, this would be it. Units can be switched to 230V operation.

Cosmetically, the units look great. Some light scuff marks here and there but nothing major. We have the original box, remote and manual. They will be securely pack for safe shipping.
