Up for sale is a black PH-3 in good overall condition. This has served me very well with my Basis turntable and both low and high output moving coil cartridges. There are a few nicks on the handles, please see photos. Electro Harmonix tubes have approximately 500 hours on them. Have used this with Mullard and Aperex tubes to good effect. Top ventilated cover is not in pictures, but I do have. Do not have original box, will have FedEx professionally pack and ship insured. This may be a dumb question. Does the phono stage handle magnetic moving cartridges, too?
Thank you Yes. It can be adjusted via soldered resisters for moving magnet or moving coil carts. The resister kit you would need to get from ARC. It is set up for a Transfiguration Phoenix cart now. |
| I have a low output moving coil cartridge (Benz ruby .3mv). Will this provide 60db or more of gain? I think it is 56 db gain |
