Just in from Concert Fidelity! This is the new DAC - originally going to be called the USD-040 but changed the name to DAC-040mk2 since "USD" sounds like US Dollars :o) The unit is in EXCELLENT condition!
This is a demo unit and has USB input only! This unit CAN play hi-rez files up to 32/384 and 2x DSD through the USB input.
D/D and D/A section is of modular system, and with a vacuum tube buffer stage, extracts every bit of information from USB Audio and CD’s, and raises expectations for USB audio and CD’s to a new level. Advances the state-of-the-art of Audio reproduction. Access to vacuum tubes from outside rear panel encouraging tube rolling.
