This beautiful Beard P505 Tube Preamp has just returned from Branson Soundworks in NJ.
It has been completely serviced and performs perfectly.
It grades close to an 8. There are some marks and scratches to perimeter of faceplate. Unit has been cleaned, but could use a detailed cleaning. Pictures tell the story.
Note: There is some bleed between inputs. Example: if you have a CD playing through the AUX input and you switch to TUNER with the Disc still playing, you will hear some low level sound of the Disc through the TUNER. Stop the disc from spinning and the signal from TUNER is perfect. This is much less apparent between the PHONO stages and the other inputs. This is just a quirk in the machine and not an issue.
Both Phono stages work and both seem to be MM.
The Power light looks like it is meant to be blue, but shines white when on.
